It’s Hard to Concentrate Personal Finance
By JLP | September 21, 2005
With Rita approaching the Texas Gulf Coast, it has been hard for me to think about personal finance. As of right now, I don’t think my family and I will evacuate. Because of my wife’s job, we would not be able to leave until Friday morning. Since they keep moving the projected landfall further to the west, things are looking a little more optimistic in my area. If it makes landfall in the Port Lavaca area, my county would most likely see heavy rainfall and wind gusts up to 50 to 70 miles per hour, which could lead to downed power lines.
If you are the praying-type, all of us down here would appreciate your prayers.
PS – Here’s a pretty cool FREE link called the Storm News Tracker that I found on the Wall Street Journal page.
