Thanksgiving
By JLP | November 23, 2005
I like Thanksgiving in that it is a great time for me to ponder all the things that I should be thankful for but don’t always think about. Here’s my list:
I’m thankful for…
- Jesus Christ and the sacrifice that He made for mankind
- My wife
- My kids
- My extended family and friends
- My church
- My health (although I could and should be taking better care of myself)
- My readers (I am have been truly blessed to meet some of the nicest people through this blog. A lot of them I would even count as friends: Jim, Sam, Dawn, Savvy, Nicole, FMF, AssetAllocator,…(you know who you are))
- This awesome country
- Freedom
- Money to live on
- Food to eat
- Nice house to live in
It’s late and I’m getting tired so I’m going to have to continue this later. I probably won’t be blogging much the rest of this week. I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving (please don’t call it “Turkey Day”).
