Technorati Still Isn’t Working
By JLP | December 8, 2005
I’m getting frustrated because Technorati STILL isn’t indexing my blog. It’s as if AllThingsFinancial doesn’t even exist in Technorati’s world. I’ve emailed them twice but I know they are too busy to worry about something as insignificant as a blog not being indexed.
Any suggestions? Since Technorati isn’t indexing this blog, it is doubtful they will even see this message.

Could you tell me why it is important? I’m just curious – I barely have any idea what Technorati is and never really use the site. I also see little, if any, traffic from them, even though I guess I am indexed (I searched for, and found, my site). Did they give you a lot of traffic before?

Jonathan,
I guess my problem with it is that people can’t see that I am linking to them. I use technorati to see who is linking to me or talking about me.
I don’t really get much traffic from the website. I use it more as a tool.

Gotcha. That makes sense. Just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing out on something big =)
Good luck! Are you “pinging” them? I think I do that every time I make a new post, with Pingomatic.com.
