I like it. The only (very) minor change I would suggest would to be to use a more muted blue for the links, titles, etc. The bright blue that you are using doesn’t fit with the blue backgrounds as well as it could.

Thanks for pointing that out. It must be my divider that I inserted. I don’t know how to fix it other than making it shorter. Surely, there’s a way to fix it right.

It is looking good! One problem I see with the new layout is if you don’t have your web browser open to full screen, the center column is overlapping with the right column.

I really like your blog. First visit for me but I am very impressed with what you are doing.
I actually started a very “crude” blog several years ago but did not know what I was doing and could not
envision how to make money. I don’t believe at that time the word “blog” had been coined.
I am a CPA and think that it would be fun to do. Any suggestions as I starting from ground
zero.

Too bad I have to go to work today as I would like to spend more time looking at your blog.

fyi,to change the color just add:

color: #2B547E;

and you should be golden. you may want to make the text size of the title a little larger, up to you.

they’re H3, class=”storytitle”

Look in your CSS file for

.storyTitle {
font: bold 14px georgia, georgia, georgia, sans-serif;
margin: 0px 0px 5px 0px;
padding: 0px;
}

Alter that and your titles should change.
