What could be causing my right sidebar to load slowly? Also, when someone clicks on a particular headline to go that page, the right sidebar doesn’t even show up. Why all the sudden would this happen? Any ideas?

Depending upon the order in which things load, it’s possible that the stuff at the bottom of the left sidebar is holding things up. Anything that has to ‘phone home’ to get info (maybe the TTLB ecosystem stuff or sitemeter?) could cause a lag. And if the left sidebar renders just before the right sidebar, that could make it look like the right sidebar is what’s moving slowly. WRT the other part of your question, I get the right sidebar when I look at an individual entry just the same as when I view your front page (including the delay).

Actually, it looks like it slowing down/hanging when contacting service.bfast.com — which looks like the ads under the red cross ad.

Nickel,
Thanks. I removed the TruthLaidBear link. I think that was what was hanging up the loading.
