Thanks to PFAdvice…
By JLP | January 6, 2006
for helping me get my old blog back! For those of you who don’t know, earlier this week I noticed that someone was using my old blogger address. There was a mixup somehow and this person started a blog and blogger allowed them to use my old blogger address. Anyway, I emailed the guy and asked him about it and he told me that he would delete his account.
Tonight, Jeffrey of PFAdvice emailed me and told me that he had just claimed my blog and asked me if I wanted it back. I said yes and now it’s back in my name.
Thanks Jeffrey! I have some great friends!

thats pretty cool that the guy would just delete it without issue.

I think the same thing happened with NYCMoney and–if I’m not mistaken–Just Another Money Blog. It’s easy to become upset with the “squatters” at first, but it seems in these two cases, it was just a mix-up. Kind of scary that it’s been Blogger’s fault in both cases.

Glad to hear it all worked out, props to Jeff for snatching it up quickly.
