The 5 Lessons a Millionaire Taught Me

By JLP | January 23, 2006

First off, I have not read The 5 Lessons a Millionaire Taught Me by Richard Paul Evans. However, I have seen reviews of the book on a couple of blogs (check out SimplifyMyLife and StopBuyingCrap). The title intrigued me so I went to the book’s website, The 5 Lessons.com.

It’s a typical website but what I liked was the two online forms he offers to help people calculate their Net Worth and Cash Flow. Users can go to those forms, fill in their information and print it out. It doesn’t get any easier than that. Of course, you can also set your own forms up in Microsoft Excel, which is what I do. Maybe someday I’ll make those forms available to readers. Would that be of any interest to anybody?

Net worth that includes paper gains from bubble houses is like measuring your net worth of Nasdaq stocks in 1999. Gary
