Blog of the Week – No. 25

By JLP | March 12, 2006

This week’s Blog of the Week goes to Single Mom & Money. Two things impress me about Single Mom:

1. She has an emergency fund.

2. She is taking charge of her finances. That’s awesome!

Also, I’m impressed with the level of comments she gets on her blog, which has only been around since December. I suppose it is her honesty and sense of humor that keep readers coming back. Anyway, go check her out (her blog, that is) and tell her JLP sent you. NOW GET!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!

I imagine it takes a lot to impress you, huh? If so, I’ve fulfilled my blogland goals for the month (lol). Whew (*wipin’ sweat from face*), that was hard work! But I must ask, why are you impressed by the number of comments on my blog? That’s funny! You sure it isn’t just because I’m fabulous? HA!

No seriously, a compliment from you means a lot. It let’s me know I’m doing “something” right. So at any rate, I am honored. Thanks for choosing me as your blog of the week.

[...] Single Ma’s been at it a WHOLE YEAR! That’s right! On December 18, 2005, Single Ma set out on her own special blogging adventure. I didn’t discover her blog until February or March (I don’t remember exactly when). All I know is it wasn’t too long after I found her blog that we became friends. In addition to making her blog my 25th Blog of the Week, I have mentioned her blog many times over the year because I like her style (except for the cuss words! LOL!). She writes from the heart, which is something I don’t do (too many people know who I am). [...]
