One Credit Card Paid Off – One To Go!
By JLP | March 17, 2006
As I stated earlier this month, by the end of March I plan to have both of our credit cards paid off. Well, I’m happy to report that phase one of that plan has been accomplished. I just paid off the biggest of the two credit cards. Although it will be sad to see our bank account decrease, it will be great to know that we getting rid of all our consumer debt. If all goes well, we should never have to carry a credit card balance again!
At the end of this month, our debt will consist of:
Home Mortgage
Home Equity Loan
Buick Rendezvous – Paid off June 2007
Furniture Purchase – Paid off June 2007
All I can say is IT’S ABOUT TIME!

Congratulations!! We have had our Credit cards paid off since 2004, but unfortunately that’s all we did. We didn’t save as much as we should have. Luckily I found your BLOG and got inspired to get a Financial Planner. We now have a plan in place and we are headed in the right direction. Thanks and keep up the good Blogging!
