OT: The Jeep With a Fat Lip

When I look at front end of the ALL-NEW 2007 Jeep Compass (or check out the official Jeep Site), I can’t help but think that it looks like it has a fat lip. In other words, I think it is ugly. They should have gone with this design.
Will ugly sell? It might. Look at the Honda Element and theScion xB, which looks like a box with wheels. Those are two of the ugliest cars on the road and I see them all over the place. Of course, maybe they are so ugly that they stand out and that’s why I think I see them all over the place. Who knows.
But heck, what do I know. I drive a Buick Rendezvous!

I think ugly is in and here to stay for a wile. I drive an ’02 Toyota Echo and just love it. It’s basically a road version of a golfcart.

Yeah, it will probably sell. As you mentioned, somebody buys those crappy looking Elements and Scions. Also, people are going crazy over the Prius and that thing is pretty ugly too.
The Compass is nowhere near as ugly as those cars.
