Winner of The Power of Positive Thinking
By JLP | April 17, 2006
The winner of drawing for a copy of Norman Vincent Peale’s The Power of Positive Thinking is commenter #17, Glenda Watson Hyatt, who also happens to be an author/blogger.
For those of you wondering how I conduct a drawing, I have slips of paper representing each comment number (I don’t count the numbers for duplicate comments or my own comments). I put all the slips of paper in a big cup, shake it up, and then one of my boys draws the winner. Pretty scientific isn’t it? I expect that once AllFinancialMatters is popular enough, I’ll buy a fancy machine like they use to do the Powerball drawing.
Anyway, congratulations to Glenda. I hope you enjoy the book! For the rest of you, there will be more drawings in the near future.

Ha, I just use a random number generator online. Bummed out I missed out on entering the drawing, though.

Wow, awesome! Thank you, Jeffrey. I’m sure this will be very motivating as finishing writing, and then self-publish, my autobiography I’ll Do It Myself: A Collection of Memories from a Woman Living with Cerebral Palsy.
I regularly watch the Hour of Power and Dr Schuller was greatly influenced by Norman Vincent Peale. It’ll be great to read Peale’s original words. Something I’ve wanted to do for a while.
Thanks again.
