GMAC Bank Account Update

So far, setting up my account at GMAC Bank has been pretty easy. I noticed that my initial deposit transferred in yesterday (at least that’s what my regular bank statement says). I began setting up my account to do automatic monthly transfers from my bank to GMAC Bank. I’m waiting on their verification process which requires them to make two small transactions into my checking account. Then, I have to log onto my GMAC Bank account and verifty those transfers. Once that is set up, I’ll start transferring $10,000 I mean $100 per month to GMAC Bank, which will serve as our emergency fund.
So far, so good. GMAC Bank needs to do a better job marketing their stuff!

I looked into this, and I don’t think I will be moving my funds any time soon. It looks nice, but I have just become quite involved with HSBC. My main checking and savings accounts are with them, so I have invested quite a bit of time getting direct deposit setup and ording checks. I like the idea of havings checks on the account, though. It would be great if there were not too restrictive limits on the number of checks/debits on the account, monthly. I didn’t quickly find information about that. At that point, it could just be used for a checking/savings account, which would be great.

how is gmac bank in relation to titling accounts (putting it into a living trust rather than your name) or setting up eft into more than external bank account? Emigrant can only handle two.
