Blog of the Week – No. 33

By JLP | May 6, 2006

This week’s Blog of the Week is Kay Bell’s Don’t Mess with Taxes, which is a play on words of a very popular saying here in Texas: Don’t Mess with Texas. Anyway, I found Kay’s blog when I was putting together the Festival of Frugality a couple of week’s ago. She hasn’t been blogging long, but she puts out quality stuff. This is a blog you will want to keep up with, which you can do by subscribing to her feed. I just wish I would have known about her blog BEFORE April 15th. Oh well, I guess I can start planning for next year’s taxes. YIPPY!

I love how an anti-litter campaign slogan is the unofficial Texas motto. It’s cool not to be a litterbug!

I got to reading an old I found titled THE BOOK pub 1932. it contains an interesting formula to reform taxes and redistribute wealth. I myself found it enlighting as to how banks are funded at the rate of just paying for printing ink and paper. They then are free to loan this same money back to the government at a discounted rate and the public at the going rate, the being a very properous deal for the private banks. This is called the Usury system, the same one Jesus broke up their tables in the temple ao long ago.
