Please Don’t Ever Do This
By JLP | May 8, 2006
This is just crazy:
In the Boston Globe, A reader asked this question of manners guru, Peter Post:
I’d like some confirmation that the following behavior is grossly inappropriate: I have a colleague– a manager, no less — who will sometimes remove her shoes and socks in a meeting, then proceed to massage and pick at her toes.
No one ever says a word; other than some eye-rolling around the conference table, her behavior isn’t even acknowledged. But as you might imagine, it’s a topic of conversation among co-workers who have witnessed it. Am I right in thinking that this is a bizarre activity?
What the…? Who in their right mind would do something so stupid and gross? You’ll have to go here to read Mr. Post’s response.

That is one of the most blatantly disgusting things I have ever heard of happening at the office! And I thought that the guy in the cube next door’s daily flatuance was bad!
