I Just Signed Up for SmartMoney Select
By JLP | May 11, 2006
I just signed up for a two-week trial with SmartMoney Select. I signed up because I wanted to try out their stock screener tool and compare it with Yahoo’s Stock Screener (which is free but may require you to sign in). I think I have browser issues with SmartMoney’s stock screener because I am not able to click on any links inside the screener. I have emailed their help desk to see what the problem could be.
It looks like SmartMoney’s screener is more powerful than Yahoo’s. However, SmartMoney’s screener DOES NOT allow me to export to Excel, which is a disappointment. Of course, there’s always the possibility that SmartMoney’s screener has this feature and I just don’t know how to use it.
Anyway, I’ll keep you posted on my SmartMoney Select experience. At $59 per year, it’s not a bad deal.
