18 Years Ago Yesterday…

By JLP | May 24, 2006

I graduated from high school! That means that a baby born on the day that I graduated (May 23, 1988) could have graduated this year! WOW! Now I’m feeling old!

Oh, and just for kicks, here’s a picture of what I looked like on that day (I’m the one on the left with the great big freakin’ glasses!):

The sad thing is, I think my mom or dad took this picture and they CUT OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD! Notice the girl in the picture is in focus! Must have been my dad! LOL!

Hey bloggers! What did you look like on graduation day? Post a picture and send me a link. I’ll be happy to post it!

    JLP,

I could’ve gone a long time without you bringing this up.

I graduated the year after you, and I didn’t need THIS post to make me feel even older than I already do. :)

    djb,

Yeah, I don’t understand the big glasses either. My parents wouldn’t let me get contacts.

I get the feeling that you don’t really care to much for me.

    JLP and Michael,

Don’t feel so old. I graduated from high school in 1983. There are no pictures.

I’m class of 1982 – and all the pix are buried somewhere in my mom’s garage – and that’s where they’ll stay…

I wore glasses (and still do) but thankfully they were decent-looking wire frames even in those days.
