Single Mom’s Daughter’s in Big Trouble!
By JLP | June 29, 2006
Ah, kids and cell phones…
I don’t have much to say about this post from Single Mom. It just cracks me up! Sorry, Single Mom. I don’t mean to laugh at your trials.

I have friends that can text seemingly 60wpm while walking through the grocery store without running into anything. If someone needs a text or image based thing from me, they’ll have to give me a call and wait until I’m back at my email.

It’s ok. I think it’s pretty funny now too.

I can’t for the life of me understand why people need to talk or text each other so much. What are they talking about? I assume it is just idle chatter – there can’t be that much useful information being passed. When I drive, it seem like every second or third car is being driven by someone with a cell phone in their ears. At the airport waiting for a flight, most of the people are fiddling around with their phone – talking -texting – etc. I must be hopelessly old fashioned or anti social because I would rather listen to music or books-on-CD in my car, and read a book or magazine in the airport.
