You're welcome.

P.S. By way of clarification, that last sentence should read more coherently as... I enjoy comments not just from the blogger, but from readers as well. JLP throws the topic on the table with his thoughts, and then I love to see what others think as well, and then see his follow-up.

Yes, my comment was not a slam on JLP who, as best I can tell in my short time here, does a great job of engaging commenters.

Miguel,

Thanks!

I was just thinking that I need to do better at engaging my readers. By that, I mean responding to comments, which I don't do as often as I should.

I'd have to second what S says. Engaging commentary is the key to getting my attention and ATF gets excellent points on that score. Not just from the blogger, but from readers, as well.

Brian, if you want a little advice for building traffic from someone who has just gotten into the pfblog scene, it's ENGAGE YOUR COMMENTERS! I'm amazed how different the pfblogs tend to be from, well, all other blogs genres I'm familiar with. There are some really great pfblogs that I just can't get into because the authors never venture into the comments, even when the thread is really long.

Thanks for sharing your story JLP. As a new blogger of 2 months, it's encouraging to see that the road to building traffic is steady as she goes. I am impressed with the sites I have visited and draw strength in knowing that everyone has a starting point. I am also pleased to see that people are willing to share their experiences (good & bad) with other bloggers, lots of opportunities to learn and grow together.
