Sign up For Windows Live Mail
By JLP | July 29, 2006
It looks like Microsoft is really going to improve Hotmail with the introduction of Windows Live Mail (the “hotmail” name is going away). If you are interested, you can sign up for the Beta version of Windows Live Mail, which should go live in a couple of weeks. The link also includes lots of screenshots of the new service. It looks promising.

After using hotmail for 10+ years, I am transitioning out of it, because they have discontinued the free Outlook access option. What a shame!

Yea! All the microsoft security and reliability for my email! Should be even less reliable than hotmail. Wonderful.
