I’m LOST! SiteMeter is DOWN!
By JLP | September 2, 2006
I logged in to my computer this morning to do my morning ritual of checking my stats. I went to my SiteMeter account and noticed that I only had 44 hits at nearly 10:00 AM (Central Time). I thought to myself, “what the?…” Then upon further inspection I noticed that the last hit was recorded 2:58:46 AM, which I’m pretty certain I have had some hits since then.

If you click on “who’s on”, you’ll see that they’re about 5 hours behind in updating stats. It seems to happen often – last May they were regularly about 40-60 minutes behind. They had seemd to fix the problem, but it’s now back.

Sorry everyone. Site Meter had a little problem this morning and the statistics are currently delayed a little. They should be back to real-time soon.

I just looked at your intra-day graph and there’s no gap. Probably just a delay. Chill out.

44 hits can be very good for some other bloggers,
