The Powertrain usually isn't what goes bad on vehicles (with the exception of the transmission)... it's everything else. I would love to see them cover some of the persistent problems we've had... bad electrical system, broked door handles and rear gates, windshield wipers that fail, vehicles that rust prematurely... I'd rather they spent their money on quality engineering, rather than warranties. Honda and Toyota know this, and that's why they are in a much better position financially.
