Approaching 300,000

Well it looks like this blog will collect its 300,000th hit tomorrow sometime. As of this writing, I am 795 hits away from 300,000 so I don’t think I’ll hit it today. Regardless, I’m pretty excited because it means that this blog is growing. Heck, it means the entire personal finance blogosphere is growing, which is good news for all of us. It also means that I’m not without people to thank (in no particular order):
1. All the other bloggers who have linked to this blog. I have MANY friends in the blogosphere. I would love to list them but I’m afraid I would leave one out and it is not my intent to hurt anyone’s feelings.
2. Lifehacker for linking to my What Belongs in Your Safe Deposit Box post.
3. George Mannes of Money Magazine and his kind words regarding this blog.
4. Finally, the readers of this blog who have found their way here in one way or another. Hopefully, you found this blog worth coming back to. I try to make personal finance as fun as possible.
Next stop: 400,000 by December 31st! Possible? Yes. Likely? We’ll see…

Congrats on all your success. I can’t wait till I hit my 10k mark! Which will be a long, long, long time from now. Yahoo! That’s fabulous! Congrats! We’ve been reviewing our hits and realized that we’ve got a shot at doubling our hits from last month (which was our high month yet). This is very exciting for us, so I am imagine how phyched you must be. My first time on your site was back when we were blog of the week when we were on our honeymoon in Thailand. Great to get some love. Keep up the great work!
