  1. Great book. One of the better reads on this subject. I checked it out form the local library after a month waiting on the list. I would love to have my own copy and read it once again.

  2. I’m a Diehard and have been using index funds for over 20 years. Therefore, even though I respect the authors, I figured there was little that I haven’t already absorbed and implemented from this book. That said, I won’t say no to a free volume.

  3. I enjoy your blog and the good comments that you have.

  4. JLP please pick me it is a great book!

  5. Thanks for hosting this Boglehead projects!

  6. I heard him speak at NYU. He is incredibly smart. He called his presentation the “The Relentless Rules of Humble Arithmetic”. And he proposed the CMH ( pun on EMH ), the costs matter hypothesis.

I would be very interested to read what he has to say, at length.

  7. My local library doesn’t have this book. If I win the giveaway, I will donate it to the library so more people will benefit from it.

  8. I’ve been following the reviews and think this would be an interesting read.

  9. This is one of the few index/passive/MPT investing books I don’t have. The reviews have been great. Thanks to all who contributed. What’s the next project?

    Good book !

  31. Bogle and his index funds are fantastic. And I love books.

  32. I would definitely be interested in this book, it sounds like a great read for someone like me who is just starting out and has no clue.

  33. Will have to check this book out!

  34. My library does not have it either, so I will also donate the book if I win it. After I read it of course.

  35. Thanks a lot for setting up the reviews. I’ve enjoyed most of them and would like to read the entire book soon.

  36. Well heck – I’d certainly be interested in a copy. Once done I can Freecycle it and give it to some other fiscally conscious reader.

  37. I read each of the reviews. I am regular on the Diehard site and would enjoy a copy of the book. Good luck to all who entered.

  38. This is a comment from a reader named Dave who couldn’t post.

    Dave said:

“Was first introduced to this book on the Diehards website; but have yet to find it at the local library. Did see a copy at Barnes & Noble; but immediately recommended the last copy available to a younger person who was looking for a good guide to investing. Look forward to getting access through the library if I am not fortunate enough to win a copy here. Thanks for what you have done for young investors. Let’s hope that more young people get the right advice for investing while they are young.”

  39. Know basic diehards concepts and would like to read the book.

  40. Thanks for a chance at this book — it’s always checked out at local library.

  41. Can’t WAIT to get my hands on this book!

  42. Sounds well worth the reading time; chapter summaries have been concise and catchy.

  43. A very generous offer! I hope to be one of the lucky ones!

  44. Great website; looking forward to perhaps earning this free read! I can’t wait –

This a great book for every novice investor. I plan to give a copy to each of my children and grandchildren.
Hopefully each will be a Diehard!!!
