    Just had to comment about the WSJ’s pricing strategy since I missed your earlier post about their price increase.

    My renewal came up at the end of August. Like everyone else, I was sent a flurry of renewal notices and various deals for months before that. I let it ride all the way down to the final few days. Then I got a phone call on the last day of my subscription. They offered me a reduced price AND an extra 6 months. I paid $189 for 18 months which I thought was a fair deal ($126/year).

    My subscription is under my company name so I don’t know if that played a factor.
