One last thing…
This is a quesiton for my non-blogger readers: Do you guys like the Weekly Roundups? Are they too big? Do you read them? I’m asking because they are time-consuming to put together and if no one is reading them, then I’ll quit wasting my time.

I like them. But don’t let that make you feel obliged.

Thank you for the mention

I know someone’s reading them, because I get a lot of traffic whenever you mention my site. (Thanks)

I read about 80% of the links posted in your weekly roundups but only because the others are of no use to me. For example, ‘529 facts’. Being a non-American reader, I thought that it was a blog entry with five hundred and twenty nine finance-related facts.

Thanks for the mention.

they are good but maybe too many, i would cut back to maybe the top 10 most interesting.

I like the roundup but I only visit the ones with a title that I am interested in. Overall I still think you should continue.

I liked them at first, but now that a lot of those blogs are on my list to read now, I tend to have read them before you post them.
I still think they should stay though.

Jerry,
Hmmm… I never thought about that before. I guess it looks like I’m accomplishing what I set out to do: help other bloggers get new readers.
February 9th, 2007 at 11:00 am
I like them. As long as there is enough descriptive info for me to accurately select the topics I am interested in, it’s nice to have.
February 9th, 2007 at 11:21 am
Indispensable! Please continue posting these. Ditto Miguel.
February 9th, 2007 at 12:02 pm
Yeah, it helps out the little people. *like me*

I enjoy your site for the same reason I enjoy other blogs such as Instapundit. You point me to useful information that I wouldn’t have found otherwise. I enjoy your posts, but you shouldn’t have to come up with content on your own, especially when it it out there on the web. I read a few items from each of these that you do.

Great roundup! From latte factor to lottery factor and back!
February 9th, 2007 at 11:20 pm
I like them, as it introduces me to blogs I didn’t know about before. And also topics that I might not have considered reading.
February 10th, 2007 at 10:17 am
Thanks for the mention and it really does help smaller bloggers like myself get noticed.

JLP:
Thanks for the mention. I think the round-ups are popular. I have extra traffic after a mention from you.
Thanks again!

This is my first time reading your site, and it seems like a very nice compilation to browse through. I’d definitely keep it around. Even if you feel it doesn’t have as wide an appeal as other posts, just make it into its own little section.
