I received an email from Vanessa Richardson, a writer who featured AllFinancialMatters in an MSNBC.com article last year. Anyway, she needs some help and asked me if I knew anyone who might be interested in helping out with the following. It sounds like a great opportunity for the right person.
I do some work for the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco and they want to put together a panel event to be held on April 24, at 6 pm. about “Generation Debt” and the related issues. The topic is “Generation Debt” and we are looking for different perspectives on debt for our panel. I want one to be a “real person” who is in the 20s/30s age range and has worked to overcome debt and gain financial security. I thought a blogger would be ideal, but I am trying to find one relatively local, somewhere in Northern California or L.A. since we cannot pay travel costs (or if they just want to come for the hell of it from anywhere, that would be fine!). Do you know of anyone in the Carnival of Personal Finance that may fit the bill?

Hi.. i noticed on your web counter, you have many UNKNOWN referrals. Where do you buy your web traffic from, since many of the visits are logged as ZERO seconds? I would like to beef up traffic on my web site. Thanks, Dave W.

Oh, and I’m totally no help though as I’m in upstate NY and have always been pretty Frugal and therefore never been in much debt. . . .

Shoot, I’m from the SF Bay Area but I’m not an expert on debt…I may also be above the age range they’ve specified. oh well…
