Hey Stacey! Welcome back!

I don't think Toyotas have always been ugly. I used to love the Celica, Supra, and the trucks back in the 80s (remember the black 4X4 in "Back to the Future?").

That said, I'm not a fan of their new products. The Sienna is okay but I'm not really a van guy.

Regardless, take my comments for what they're worth. Afterall, I drive a Rendezvous, so what the heck do I know about style?

Aloha! I'm B-A-C-K....! How can you think Toyotas are ugly, JLP?! I knew you didn't like the Tundra, but such a broad brush we bash with?...tsk, tsk! It's all about personal preference my friend...I guess MILLIONS of us must have bad taste ;)

Besides 1 Ford pickup, we have owned 1 Tercel, 1 Corolla, 1 Celica ST, 3 Camry LEs, 1 Avalon, and 2 Sienna XLEs (our 2006 is much better-looking than Honda's new O-van (style-less box on wheels that it is) Too bad they changed styles, b/c their previous model actually looked great. All of our Toyotas have performed beautifully...and I think have been very pleasing to the eye(IMHO). The sweetest ride to me would be the Mercedes and/or Lexus convertibles--a girl's gotta dream! Other than that I'm sticking w/Toyotas.

So you'd turn down a free Toyota if you won one? I'll take it off your hands at 50%...

xoxo, slm

If you are against minimum wage are you also against paid overtime? Because if the market was deciding wage prices, wouldn't the market benefit if employers didn't have to pay people extra for working overtime?

Just want to say thanks so much for the mention. I agree with you about the minimum wage. I'm for less government and more reliance on the market. The masses can decide what should happen.

Ben,

I don't know. I'm sure the big fear is that wages would go down and that's why we'll never see the end to minimum wage.

Thanks for the mention! Do you think letting the market set the minimum wage would drive the rate up or down?
