I have a personal example: I don't know much about investing. I'd love to learn, but I don't have time to study right now (I started but realized it will just have to wait until the kids are older and I have more free time). In the meantime, though, I've done enough research to know that index funds are a reasonable way to invest my money, even though I don't know what all of my other options are.
