Do these work on the receipts my wife hands to me in ball-form from the bottom of her purse?

Answer:
Well, you can try to cram the balled receipt through the scanner’s slot, but I wouldn’t recommend it. It might be better to flatten it out first or better yet, get your wife to organize her receipts so that she doesn’t hand you a bunch of wadded-up paper. Good luck with that.

Haha, I’ve tried the organizer thing but somehow I still always get them in ball-form!

Getting them in ‘ball-form’ is above average performance … getting them as surprise line item entries on visa, amex, mc, discover, macy’s, nordstroms, etc, etc, statements is normative performance…

NeatReceipts sounds like a great tool, but isn’t it better to encourage electronic bills / statements etc. instead of getting the paper at all?
