Can You Think of Another Word for “Retirement?”

October 2, 2007

Here’s something interesting:

I received an email yesterday from a PR person for Smart Money Magazine alerting me to a contest that they are currently running. The contest is called Retire “Retirement”. They are looking for a word to replace “retirement.” The best part is the winner will receive a $100,000 annuity to help pay for retirement!

Surely one of you is smart enough to think of a new word to replace the word retirement. It would be really cool if the winner came from AllFinancialMatters!

Anyway, to learn more about the contest, go to Smart Money’s Retire “Retirement” website and enter by either submitting your word or a video. Good luck!

  2. Admittedly this is a lot tougher than I thought! Nothing immediate comes to mind…besides I want that 100k!

  3. JLP: Cool…I am in.

ON a side note: can you start a discussion as to whether people should convert 401ks to roth 401ks?

pros and cons, what age they should consider it, etc.

    Keep up the goodwork!

    The other JS 😉

  4. I prefer to call it “unwork”.
