I’ve Been Blogging For 3 Years!

Today marked my 3rd anniversary as a blogger!
THREE YEARS!
I started out with AllThingsFinancial.blogspot.com and switched to AllThingsFinancialBlog.com in the summer of 2005. Then I had to change my name and url to AllFinancialMatters because some bank owned the phrase “All Things Financial.” I’m certain all my jumping around hurt my blog’s growth but that’s how it goes. On this blog I have written 1,877 posts and 12,617 people have left comments. I have been very fortunate to have thoughtful commenters.
Blogging has its up and downs. Some days I absolutely love it and other days I wonder what the hell I’m doing. I’m never satisifed with my traffic numbers (I was hoping to be at around 30,000 hits a day by now. LOL!) and I never feel like this blog gets enough respect (I’m just being honest with you). Be that as it may, I am thankful for what I have. I have recieved lots of very kind emails over the years and have made lots of friends (and a few enemies).
That’s the life of this personal finance blogger.
Anyway, to mark my 3-year blogging anniversary, I’ll be giving away 5 SIGNED copies of Larry Swedroe’s Wise Investing Made Simple
