How About $5,000 Worth of Polo Shirts for Christmas?
By JLP | December 3, 2007
I saw this in a recent issue of Fortune and thought I’d share it with you. For a mere $5,000, you can buy that special man in your life this:

It’s a leather and lucite trunk with 40 Polo shirts. I can think of better ways to spend $5,000!

The fact that that’s over a month of not having to do laundry makes it just about worth it.
Throw in 40 pairs of boxers and 10 pairs of jeans and you have a deal.

I agree but I do so love Polo shirts. There are only 7 days in a week. Unless you only do laundry once a month, rather then weekly, 40 seems excessive.

Are you kidding? It’s the best deal ever. j/k
Who came up with this? I’m guessing someone who only wanted to do laundry ever 8 business weeks (or ever 40 days if he’s a daily polo person). I’ve heard of people making lots of money but not having time or energy for laundry, so they keep buying new clothes. Maybe this will help that market solve their problems by limiting washing to 6 times a year.

haha thats crazy. you can get a polo shirt with a 40 on it for 27 bucks right now from Attus Apparel, vs. 40 polos for $5000. They probably have a little more character anyways…..look attusapparel.com

Personally, I hate polo shirts. Lucky for me, a bucket full of grey or white t-shirts is a heck of a lot cheaper.
