		<description>Money should always be considered, as there is a limited amount of it.  Otherwise, you get in the habit of spending ALL of it, or increasing the debt on your credit card by a large amount; neither one is good.

My general rule is $20 for REALLY close friends and $30-100 for immediate family.  As a guy, I want to show appreciation to friends and family, but I really don&#039;t like giving out gift cards or unneeded gifts - it leads to more spending and/or waste.</description>
