Congrats to the Giants!!!!!!

I was happy to see them win and happy to see the Patriots lose.

As a lifelong Patriots fan, I can’t share your sentiment. I’m willing to admit, however, that the Patriots were outcoached and outplayed during the game. I’m just sorry they had to lose to Eli [insert whiny voice] “but Daddy, I don’t WANT to play for San Diego (even though they drafted me and I will be paid millions of dollars)!” Manning instead of someone deserving such as Brett Favre. In reality the Patriots were fizzling for weeks after their red-hot start, and it showed tonight.

I am with you. Now the depression starts to set in…for 7 months…

What a great game. It was at least one of the more memorable super bowls for sure. NFC FTW!

I lost my voice from screaming. When Manning escaped the sack, my boyfriend and I just jumped up and started hugging – we almost missed Tyree’s helmet catch! Then I almost broke the guacamole bowl. Not a great night for our dishware, but totally worth it! :)

    Lily,

That play was incredible on BOTH ends. It most likely has to be the most AMAZING play in Super Bowl history.

I liked everything but the commercials. Way too many of them. Also many of the ads were very adult-oriented that made me want to cover the eyes of my children!

    Greg,

NONE of the commercials impressed me. NONE!

And I agree with you in that commercials shouldn’t be so racy as to be inappropriate for kids to see.

I did enjoy the halftime show. I thought Tom Petty was great!

I liked the half-time show too, and didn’t think I would. Great move by Petty because it’s one of those bands where once you here them you’re like “Oh, yeah, I LOVE them!”

Anyway, I too am so glad to finally come to the end of the constant rainbows & lollipops Patriots/Brady coverage. I didn’t hate the Patriots that much before this season, but all the fanfare really made me itch for the Giants to knock them off their high horse. Plus if the Cowboys had to lose I’d rather it be to the Champs – and it’s good for our division I guess.

Be thankful you’re not in California…every other commercial was for/against the indian gaming proposals.
