Sorry for the Lack of Posts
By JLP | March 13, 2008
I’m sorry for the lack of posts lately. Part of it is me getting back into the swing of things from being gone last week and part of it is due to the fact that I just don’t feel like blogging. I guess you could say I’m in a bit of a blogging funk.
Have no fear. I’ll be back full force by Monday.

Hi JLP,
I’ve been a lurker on your site for a while…never posted a comment before. I’d like to share a quote with you I find comforting when I find myself at odds with life’s demands. “What do we live for if it is not to make life less difficult for each other?” Said by George Eliot, pseudonym for Mary Ann Evans.
Your blog helps make your readers lives less difficult. I am grateful for what you do and happy to stay tuned while you take care of yourself and your family.

Take your time.
Comfort your mom and family.
The internet isn’t going anywhere and I, for one, will still be here when you get back.

Beckie & Ron,
Thanks for your kind comments.
I think the reality of my dad being gone finally settled in this week. I had a couple of things happen that made me want to call my dad and talk to him but that wasn’t possible. Life without him is going to take some adjustment.

Take a break if you need to; I’ll be here when you come back. Perhaps you can put out a call for guest posts if Meg would be willing to serve in an editor role and post them.

Your “blogging funk” is certainly more than understandable. Like Ron, I’ll still be here whenever you’re ready to fully return – no need to rush on our account!
