It is funny how things go in life. My last Christmas with my Father was when I was 12. My brother got a VCR from Santa and I got "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" and one of my fondest memories is of me, my bro, and my dad sitting there watching "Roger" at 5am on Christmas morning.
Keep up the good work on the blog and keep laughing!

Beth,

Thanks for your thoughts.

Chic Saver,

Hopefully you'll get many, many more years with your dad.

Meg,

Yes, my dad was a goofball with a great sense of humor.

Yeah, I thought the comic was hilarious. I laughed out loud when I read it the first time. I KNOW my dad would have thought it was funny too.

Hopefully your memories will always be laced with laughter and smiles.

So many people never have what you had with your father. You are very lucky, as I'm sure you know.

And that is a very funny comic!

I've always told my own father that he can never die. I think that is the least he could do given how much I love him. :)

Everyone's life needs a little humor. And, often times, laughter and tears make a good combination. It's a way to heal and nuture your spirit. Life's hard enough...
