Took the Day Off Today to Spend Time with My Wife and Daughter

By JLP | May 4, 2009

Today was Kindgergarten roundup day for my daughter. I can’t believe she will be 5 later this month! I started blogging about 5 months after she was born. Wow! Time flies.

This was a different roundup because we didn’t tour the school because this is the last year at this school. The next two school years will be held in off-site portables while they tear down the old school and build a brand new school in its spot. I’m a little sad that our daughter won’t be going to the same school that our boys went to but am happy that we are getting a new school.

I’ll be back to blogging tomorrow morning.

I’ve been in a bit of a blogging funk lately. I thought taking two weeks off for spring break would make a difference but it didn’t.

This post is certain not to attract much comment love but it should. You’ve got to “take time to smell the flowers” as they say, and they say it for a reason. I can’t remember who said it but the quote goes something like this, “No one ever said on their death bed, I wish I had worked more.”

    Good for you!
