Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow…

Here’s the 5-day forecast for my part of the country:

It’s not a big deal unti you realize that I live 40 miles from the Gulf and we NEVER see snow in our area.

Must be that global warming. Have fun shoveling the global warming off your driveway like we in Canada do for a few months every year.

We had minor flurries yesterday, but nothing stuck! Brrrr….it’s cold here today!

It’s cold here, too…flurries the past few days and ‘measureable’ snow predicted for Tuesday…that’s NEVER a good sign!

Never – EXCEPT for last year at this same time…

In southwest Houston and it has been snowing hard for a while, actually seeing a fair amount on the ground. I have made a snowball… and gotten myself in trouble with it, now I am in hiding.
Enjoy the snow while it lasts!

There isn’t a profession out there that I hate more than TV weathermen…What happens when it doesn’t snow? NOTHING no one gets fired, no accountability

Your weather forecast actually looks pretty nice. It was 10 degrees when I left for work this morning here in Salt Lake. But we could use some snow for the ski resorts. Maybe this weekend . . .

I’m in western NC and we could get snow tomorrow – pretty early in the year for that stuff, especially considering I was out playing tennis in a tank top and skirt yesterday. I hate winter – too bad humans can’t hibernate.

I love winter (actually, I just like seasons). We don’t get a lot of really cold weather here so I’ll take what I can get.

Had a bit of snow here in Brenham (about 60-80 miles from our gracious host), but it didn’t stick. I received reports of more snow both in Houston-proper, and in Austin (I’m about halfway between the two).
Looks like the climatologists (back in the 70′s) might’ve known what they were talking about:-)

Greetings from central Iowa! Up until last night, the greater Houston area had received more snow than we did! That will change in the next few days, as we are to receive up to 1′ of snow by Wednesday.
Happy Shoveling!
