Check out http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/sickaroundtheworld/view/ for a view of how other countries do it. The US could learn a thing or two from those other countries. Yes, they have their own problems, but they spend less money and get more health care. And you don't have to become an overnight lawyer just to get what you paid for.
