And yes, “dumbass” is probably a little much, but I would have likely used much more colorful language had I written this right after it happened.
It’s good that I’ve let myself cool down for a couple of weeks before writing this post.

86 years old. This is not surprising. Well before then, the prefrontal cortex, where logic, reason, and judgment occur, begins to deteriorate. At the other end of the age range, the prefrontal cortex is not fully developed before 25.
Is it any wonder that the young and old tend to vote Democrat?

My wife’s parents were scammed into buying a $7k fire alarm system. The presentation scared them and so they bought it and it was installed the very next day.
I told them to call them back that day and have them removed, which surprisingly the company did remove the 7 or 8 devices they installed. What a scam!
