Very true! Big days up or down seem crazy to me, as not that much changes in one day. But perception is everything and lately perception has been all over the map in terms of how healthy the global economy is.

The chart illustrates why it is impossible to time the market – you just have to hang in there, or not, depending on your willingness to handle the volatility.
