    A very nice chart!

    My apologies if I missed it somewhere, but I assume these calculations assume annual reinvesting of the dividends? (or quarterly?)

    Since it is still a big part of the return over time (and some stock market critics forget to include dividend yields when quoting long-term market returns) it might be worth making that explicit in your chart.

    Still, great ammo to use against the “stocks are dead” crowd.

    “Total Return” means that dividends are included.
