Reaching Dow Jones Industrial Average Thresholds

The DJIA closed at 300 on December 31, 1928. It took nearly 26 years for it to reach the 400 threshold!

Once it reached 1,000 in late 1972, it “only” took about 14 years to reach 2,000.
